1) Two Indian Army officers have received the prestigious Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

2) Government of Delhi has decided to declare November 10, 2021, as a public holiday on account of Chhath Puja.
➨Chhath, celebrated after Diwali by people belonging to Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh, involves the offering of ‘Arghya’ by fasting women to the Sun god in knee-deep water. It involves elaborate rituals spanning over three days.

3) India will be hosting a national security advisor (NSA) level regional conference in New Delhi on Afghanistan, on November 10.
➨ National Security Advisor of India Ajit Doval will chair the meeting.
