About NRSC :
The National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is one of the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) Department of Space’s key centres (DOS). The NRSC is responsible for establishing ground stations for receiving satellite data, generating data products, and disseminating them to users, as well as developing remote sensing techniques for disaster management, geospatial services for good governance, and capacity building for professionals, faculty, and students.
The National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC) has numerous campuses to suit the demands of the country’s national and regional remote sensing data and applications.
- Administration, Remote Sensing Applications, and Aerial Services are all housed at the central campus in Balanagar, Hyderabad.
- The Shadnagar Satellite Data Reception, Processing, and Dissemination Campus, as well as Earth and Climate Studies, and Disaster Management Support
