- Trade wise Vacancies–
Fitter, Welder, Mech, Carpenter, Painter, Lineman, Wireman, Ref. & AC Mech., Electrician, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- Age Limit–
– Minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years.
– The upper age relaxation – 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC – NCL and 10 years for PWBD category candidates.
- Educational Qualification–
-The candidate must have passed the 10th class (Matriculation) examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised Board and also have a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT.
Welder (Gas and Electric) / Sheet Metal Worker / Lineman / Wireman / Carpenter / Painter (General) – 8th grade pass from a recognised school and a National Trade Certificate in the specified trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT are the minimum educational requirements.
- Selection Process–
-Selection will be on the basis of merit (10th class or 8th std marks and ITI Marks).
- Application Fee–
– A one-time cost of Rs. 100/- is non-refundable. For SC, ST, PWBD, and all female candidates, there is no charge.
-The fees must be paid online using the ‘Payment Gateway’ while filling out the online Application Form. The cost can be paid with a debit card, credit card, or Internet banking, among other options.
- How to Apply–
From April 11th, 2022, eligible candidates must apply online only through the RRC Eastern Railway official website (apprentice.rrcrecruit.co.in). The deadline for online application registration is 6:00 p.m. on May 10, 2022. All papers, such as a photograph, signature, mark sheets, and a community certificate, must be uploaded by the candidates.

– Closing date and time of online application: 10th May 2022 up to 06.00 PM

- Selection process for Eastern Railway Apprentice 2022
– Selection will be on the basis of merit prepared in respect of all eligible candidates who apply against the notification.
– For the trades for which class 8th pass is the minimum qualification, the merit list would be prepared for all eligible candidates, including those having qualification of matriculation and who opt for these trades, based on the average marks obtained both in class 8th standard and ITI examination.

-Preliminary Stage – I: Select Trade and Type of Disability (if any) and confirm.
– Preliminary Stage – II: Candidate’s basic details including email id/ mobile No. etc.
– Activation Stage – III: Validation of Email ID & Registration Number generation and email/sms will be sent to the email id /mobile no. registered.
– Documents Uploading Stage – IV: Upload Scanned Photograph, Signature and all relevant documents.(if applicable).
– Payment Stage – V: Payment of Application Fees of ₹ 100 ( if applicable)
